Dr. Karen Young's journey in veterinary medicine began at the tender age of three, a passion that she carried with her into adulthood. After graduating from Kansas State Veterinary School in 1981, she started her career in her hometown of Salina, KS. In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Young is a dedicated mother to four daughters and a loving pet owner, with two dogs, Louie and Noir, and numerous horses that are close to her heart.
